Skytek Invited as Promotional Sponsors of Digital Ship Maritime CIO Forum
Skytek is pleased to announce their participation in Digital Ship Maritime CIO Forum, London.
Skytek were invited as promotional sponsors and were given the opportunity of having their own stand to demonstrate their new IPV Marine system.
This conference was aimed at addressing how to identify the real digital opportunity present and re-define digitalisation in maritime and transport. Furthermore it also looked at how to better drive the business improvements these technologies represent.
These topics were discussed throughout four key sessions:
- Session 1: The Maritime Satcom Summit – this session investigated the evolution of maritime mobility and connectivity.
- Session 2: Harnessing Cyber Resilience and Managing Risk – this session addressed alternative outlooks on cyber security, safety and risk.
- Session 3: The iShipping Revolution – the topic of focus was streamlining the supply chain due to rise of digitalisation and advanced technologies such as IoT, blockchain autonomy, AI and VR.
- Session 4: Can Digital Drive Optimisation and Efficiency? – this session focused on how to judge an investment case.
