Security Mission Information & Innovation Group (SMI2G) Brokerage Event

The Security Mission Information & Innovation Group (SMIG) two-day event was held in Brussels earlier this month to discuss the upcoming 2018 Secure Societies calls of Horizon 2020.

The Security Mission Information & Innovation Group (SMIG) focuses on the features of Horizon 2020 (H2020) with the view of exchanging information on the Secure Societies calls to stimulate networking and consortia building. The objective is to give delegates the opportunity to create ideas and find partners for each open research call of the EU security research programme.

The event focused on the H2020 Work Programme 2018-2020 for the “Secure Societies – Protecting freedom and security of Europe and its citizens”. Specifically, Secure Societies 7 and the security calls within the ICT Work Programme. This brokerage event provides a unique networking platform to stimulate innovative ideas and to facilitate the creation of consortia.
